According to a prime-time television show here in Australia.

  • 20. Justin Timberlake - Sexyback
  • 19. Silverchair - Straight Lines
  • 18. Ricky Martin - She Bangs
  • 17. Christina Augilera - Ain't No Other Man
  • 16. Amy Winehouse - Rehab
  • 15. Anastacia - I'm Outta Love
  • 14. Sandi Thom - I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker
At this point, having already chuckled a number of times, I just about threw my television out the window. Get fucked.
  • 13. Gabriella Cilmi - Sweet About Me
  • 12. Avril Lavigne - Sk8er Boi
"mixing grunge and glamour"
  • 11. Wheatus - Teenage Dirtbag
I will hunt you down if defy this. Great song. I used to think it was sung by Jason Biggs.
  • 10. Snow Patrol - The Most Overrated Song of All Time
  • 9. Fergie - Glamorous
I might just give up, actually. Luckily, Danny Bonaduce is proving entertaining.
  • 8. Green Day - American Idiot
  • 7. Elvis Presley vs JXL - A Little Less Conversation
Less succesful was the 'follow-up', Rubberneckin'. Anyone remember that?
  • 6. Rihanna - Umbrella
  • 5. Anthony Callea - The Prayer
  • 4. Destiny's Child - Bootylicious
  • 3. Powderfinger - My Happiness
  • 2. Madonna - Music
  • 1. Coldplay - Clocks
That little notification sound that beeps when you get a new email in Outlook reminds me of this song every single time.

I was surprised Beautiful Day didn't make it... what do you think?

Could be worse. I assume it was that abysmal 20 to 1 show?

Good to see Sexyback in there and Miss Climi and also Umbrella. Dunno about KloX as number one.

Avril Lavigne has better songs in Complicated, Losing Grip and Mobile.

I heard Teenage Dirtbag just recently for the first time in a fair while, and I enjoyed it immensely. I still prefer Leroy (Is My Mojo Man) substantially more though.

Fergie's London Bridge is greater than Glamorous (as much as I do love it). I'm actually surprised they put Glamorous in ahead of Big Girls Don't Cry.

My Happiness

Strange old list. Considering it was some Channel Nine dunce who probablywrote it, I'm actually quite impressed. Kinda wish I watched this now.

Sandi Thom, Anthony Callea, JXL, Anastacia can go and shove it.

And yeah, there should be Beautiful Day.

i tend to ignore lists like these, unless they include "Untitled" by Interpol.

Easily their best track. It's the reason I have a copy of Turn On The Bright Lights.

Personally, my dealbreaker is a lack of "Kissing The Lipless" by The Shins.

That's a bad list by prime-time Australian television standards.

Wait, no it isn't. It's an utterly average list by those standards. Really, there isn't a good song on there [edit: didn't see Bootylicious, I have nothing against that, but it's not exactly a top DC track], even though I'll gladly admit that I like other tracks by Justin Timberlake, Amy Winehouse and Rihanna.

# 17. Christina Augilera - Ain't No Other Man

I don't even know what the hell this is.

Yeah, everyone usually just focuses on Livin' La Viva La Vida Loca and forgets about She Bangs.

Fergie deserves to be higher on there because of the flossy flossy.

I'll take the William Hung version of "She Bang," if possible.

Outdated cultural reference!

Was this list a practical joke? Did it stem from anger of the toilet flushing the wrong way? Yikes.
