That would makes sense why they are sub-headlining night #1 of Coachella this year . . . pretty much the only reason why I'm even entertaining going this year.

My work firewall is blocking that link. Can somebody summarize? Album title? Month of release revealed?

Sadly, not much in the way of specifics is known, but it is on the way.

New single Tame Impala return with epic eight-minute single ‘Let It Happen’

Very Tame Impala at the start before it sort of devolves into a more meandering electro jam. Good song but not totally sold. Supposedly the new album will feature more electro, which I can't say I'm overly thrilled about.

Wow, this is...bad. Boring, too long, plodding, a real snoozefest. If this is what the new album is going to sound like, I'm ok with missing them in Pomona.

It's still going on.

I don't think it's terrible, but I do hope that some of the tracks on the album are more guitar driven. Will have to listen to this a couple more times to form an opinion.

I was starting to wonder if my computer had frozen at one point during my first listen.

Yes there is a really annoying part about halfway through that just sounds like skipping.

Looking forward to hearing this. If it's terrible, whatever, 2015 has more in store.

Not sure where the negative reaction to this track is coming from. The groove and tempo are in line with their past stuff, and there is variety in the extended instrumental part that keeps it interesting. Were we really all wanting Lonerism mach2 aka Innerspeaker mach3?

Tame Impala - Lonerism

I've been holding out for Joshua Tree Part 2 ever since the disappointing Achtung Baby.

Seriously, though, this is still one of my most anticipated albums of the year.
