I'm sure there are some fans scattered around here, and I haven't seen any mention yet, so I wanted to pass along this monumental news. SDRE is reuniting for a tour with the original members, coinciding with the rerelease of the first two albums, remastered, repackaged, etc. Sadly, since this news came out some time ago, I think many of the shows are already sold out. I'm embittered because I planned two money-sucking trips during this period, including U2 at Boston a week before these guys play there, and I just can't make it happen. This is one of the handful of bands that I would make a substantial road trip to catch live...

If you don't know these guys, and you have a tolerance for harrowing intensity and exorcised vocals, do yourself a favor and check them out. They are one of the best of the best bands to come out of the 90's, and one of my top ten (probably top five!) live shows ever. Absolutely blistering live sets.

And I need a kind soul to consider grabbing a t-shirt for me! :D

I feel like I'm supposed to care/go to this, but I don't and more than likely won't. I never really "got" this band, though I've certainly tried...
