Tunnel of Love is great, no discussion.

Agreed.

But the songs are great live. Most of the songs sound like they were knocked out in a couple takes and some of them actually are live. Can't wait to hear Jackson Cage.

Hungry Heart is Bruce's Pride. The live performances can't match the studio version.

I would rather Bruce do karaoke Hungry Heart than U2 do karaoke One. There's no mystique or historical importance to Hungry Heart, so mailing it in is whatever.

Am I the only one here who loves Hungry Heart?

Kind of lame that people would call that song out and not have a problem with the cheesy synth of Dancing In The Dark, which is even more disposable. Or Glory Days, which isn't much better.

I like it. The verse lyrics are a class in efficient storytelling.

"We fell in love, I knew it had to end" is a great line.
