I'm thrilled to have another concert DVD, but yeah, what's up with the Darkness delays?

perhaps landau got together with paulie mcg and decided that they shouldn't release the darkness set until right around the holidays

Which is ludicrous because this new DVD is cheaper and more appealing to a mainstream audience, whereas a Darkness box is geared towards hardcore fans who will gladly pay any price for it, regardless of the time of year.

true enough... perhaps they just can't agree on what to include on it.

Well the DVD sounds good to me because it will be the first Bruce Blu Ray and since I actually have a player now..I will definitely get that.

Me too.

But what would you think about a new concert DVD?

Anyone know why Rosalita is not on the DVD?? It was definitely recorded properly (greatly in fact), as their is a versionof it on Youtube, and it is IMO a particularly great version! YouTube - Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band - Rosalita (Come Out Tonight) (PROSHOT)

As for the omission of Rosalita, I can only surmise that it's because Clarence's performance isn't quite up to par, but that's hardly a big deal. Very disappointed they are leaving it off. Why they would take off that one song and deprive fans of a complete show is beyond me.

I never noticed that before alright, Clarence's playing during the first half is a tad weak, but as you said that is still not a reason to leave it off, the rest of the band are smoking!!! especially MAX! Another reason could be Bruce's vocals sound a little rough, then again he just blew Glastonbury away the night before, that's forgivable and he still sounds amazing, It might just be that epic pose he pulls at the end! The cover is the coolest thing I've seen in a good while!!!
