No Patti.

The last song was played with two Pittsburgh guys.

Nils' solo on Because the Night was really fucking good.

The highlight for me was finally getting to see Jungleland live. Thunder Road live was a bonus, too.

But I've never seen Bruce as pumped as he was tonight, and neither had anyone else.

He actually sang a verse of Spirit in the Night from the first row.

God, I wish I could see him again. He's on fire right now, to steal a quote .

I had a dream last night I went to a Springsteen concert at some sort of small venue where there were tables to sit at as well as the regular arena seating.

At my table were Martha and PFan. For some reason, a setlist was nearby, and there was a hand-written addition of "Gypsy Biker," and I got to inform Martha of the good news.

Concert dreams ftw!

That's funny. Kind of. Do you even know what I look like other than my blurred face in the DI4 list?

My mother and aunts theorized that Bruce was much more playful with the audience for two reasons: he knew a number of people there, as he noted early on, and Patti wasn't there so he could get a little more sexual. As in, laying down in front of the first row with his legs open in front of a female fan, who hesitantly grabbed his knees after much prodding from the audience. It was kind of funny, in a weird way.

Oh, and movie fans would enjoy that Bruce and Stevie re-enacted the Bill Murray/Owen Wilson pose from The Life Aquatic in order to pick out a request for Rosalita.

Part Man, Part Monkey certainly came out of left field.

Great set list.
