Sandy isn't really one of my favorites, either.

I've finally come around to it - it never used to do anything for me, either. Now I like it quite a bit, although it's not even close to being a favorite.

Has anyone able to find a copy of the show that was partially broadcast on Sirius over the weekend from Sweden?

From Backstreets.com:

...SIRIUS' E Street Radio broadcast live from the show, including "Sandy," "Atlantic City," "Because the Night," "Cadillac Ranch," "Independence Day," and the final five songs of the night. Online, you can see video of the opening three songs at

TV | Aftonbladet

Enjoy! I'm assuming the quality is good - I haven't listened to it myself yet.

I actually saw that band in concert. Yes, they sounded awesome. And Randy The American Idol Judge played guitar in that band But, they were not the E Street Band. No way, no how.

I was a little baffled as to why he needed five (count 'em - FIVE) backup singers. That's a bit excessive.

And I kept being distracted by their dated early 90s fashions. White woman with the short permed hair, crop top and tight pants, I'm talking to YOU.

While Randy Jackson played bass on some of the Human Touch/Lucky Town songs, he was never part of the touring band. The bassist was Tommy Sims.

I saw a show on that tour, and it really was a great show. Obviously not the same as the E Street Band, but still a great show nonetheless:

RED HEADED WOMAN / BETTER DAYS / LOCAL HERO / LUCKY TOWN / DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN / SPIRIT IN THE NIGHT / 57 CHANNELS / TRAPPED / BADLANDS / LIVING PROOF / IF I SHOULD FALL BEHIND / MY HOMETOWN / LEAP OF FAITH / MAN'S JOB / ROLL OF THE DICE / BECAUSE THE NIGHT / COVER ME / HUMAN TOUCH / ALL THE WAY HOME / BOOK OF DREAMS / SOULS OF THE DEPARTED / BORN IN THE USA / REAL WORLD / LIGHT OF DAY / BRILLIANT DISGUISE / GLORY DAYS / DARLINGTON COUNTY / HUNGRY HEART / THUNDER ROAD / BORN TO RUN / MY BEAUTIFUL REWARD / WORKING ON THE HIGHWAY

jeez that dvd is painful to watch, well, ok that might be a slight exaggeration , bruce looks mighty fine, but the fashion of the rest of the band is quite wretched! that guitarist appears top be competing for the top spot of terrible and tacky outfits against little steven.

I saw that tour at the LA Sports Arena and hated it.

I still haven't been able to shake the particularly bad stage antics during the song Roll of the Dice. It was amateur hour.

The E Street Band is cool but that band was just cheesy. I kept on thinking, "This is sad. This isn't right. What's he trying to pull with all of these people?" I believe I ended up concluding that it was all somehow all Sting's fault...and that Springsteen had listened to some horrible advice during the Amnesty tour and that this was the vision that he'd come up with.

Even professor Roy Bittan was the cheese on that tour.

And I must say, I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't care much for Sandy

You must not have gotten a good show then, because the show I saw on that tour rocked, even if it wasn't E Street.

They had just come off their multi-night stand in Jersey and supposedly were on fire and finally clicking, so I guess I caught it at the right time.
