Songs about Communicating and Settling Differences

Any come to mind? Lyrics about settling differences and finding consolation in love. If that means seeing someone's point of view. Overcoming power struggles and other kinds of relational conflicts and communicating to settle differences. I like doing mix CDs of all of kinds of varying topics. I got a couple already. I am looking for something preferably like this one:

Mae - Communication

did i waste it
not so much i couldn't taste it
life should be fragrant
rooftop to the basement
the last of the rock stars
when hip hop drove the big cars
in a time when new media
was the big idea
was the big idea

Kite is the worst song by anybody, ever. Except... for the others.

Ha, man I forgot how awful and nonsensical that last "Kite" verse is.

I played a cover of Kite once at an event and just ended the song after the chorus. Fuck that verse.

Kite actually means more to me than perhaps any other song I can think of, but yeah, that final verse is horrendous.
