Hey guys,

Just wanted to share my own band's stuff. We are called 'Stonewall', and we have a website: Stonewall

It's easiest to listen to our recent, first EP straight through our soundcloud or bandcamp. The bandcamp link is Stonewall.

We're a little more folk-rock than most anything U2 does, but probably our most U2-esque song is 'Jubilee' (a la the early Beautiful Day title):

Jubilee | Stonewall

Let me know if you like.

I'm a little late to the game. I posted some stuff I worked on through the years. U2 influenced. If anybody interested in listening its http://www.soundcloud.com/re2374

Be gentle, this ain't exactly my day job :D

The guitar player in my band LOVES the Edge. I think I posted here before, but check us out if you'd like. I can send free MP3s to Interference members who would like our album.

No. We should be able to make our own threads, within certain limits. Updates to this thread are so infrequent that they wouldn't likely clog the forum.

I habitually skip stickied threads, just out of them always being at the top.

Also, I certainly agree that at some point, your own band has to be worth a thread. What happens if someone on Interference happens to create the next Weezer, or some such? Can we not have any threads about that band, then?

The time is ripe for a preemptive strike on Interference. Let's burn this motherfucker down!

We just released our first two songs off the album we're working on. (Does anyone actually listen to anything on here or check this page anymore?)

Just professionally recorded an album of original tunes and uploaded to Soundcloud. Light rock/pop, catchy songs about real world personal issues. Enjoy :)

Both strong recordings, I hear some 80's influence in both of ya'lls work, and in a good way.

Tourist, what do you play in the band?

Keep it up

Thanks!

I play guitar and do the synth and drum programming. I also did all the production, engineering, and mastering.

The production was stellar

Thanks a ton! Mastering is definitely the hardest part of the whole process. Making it loud without losing dynamics or brickwalling.

Hey gang not sure if this is the right spot but she's an artist with an actual release out, so I guess it fits?

My daughter (Racquel: Spotify | Soundcloud | Apple Music) got the chance to perform for RBCx Music series FirstUp. They sponsored a few emerging artists a bit so she used it for studio time and to hire a couple players to back her up on performing pared down versions of her new tracks from her upcoming album tentatively titled "Something More".

Her 25 minute performance session will air tomorrow Friday Aug 7 at 7PM EST on her IGTV which is @wthracquel http://instagram.com/wthracquel/

Hope you can make it by and check out some new tunes, she's a mainly soul rnb with some other sounds in there too. Her influences are mainly Sade, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse kinda thing.

Cheers!
