the highlight of the night for me was when Jon was doing his joke, Ryan went into the audience and sat in the empty seat directly behind me and started yelling "play winding wheel" and "come pick me up" and "cuts like a knife" then he said "Ryan Adams and the Crapinals. Neal was yelling back at him "all i hear is bla bla bla and shut the f* up"

I was there. My first Ryan Adams show. Amazing! Lucky for those sitting around him as he grabbed an empty seat in the audience. Of course someone had to run down the isle and snap a photo. I already had Gold but since the show my itunes account has been taking a hit!

I Follow The Lights, my favorite track right now is If I Am A Stranger...

Question; I usually buy my CDs from a used place so I add to my collection based on what's available. Because of this I only have Love Is Hell Part I. Is part II worth getting or is part I the better album?

That's hard. I think 1 is better overall, but 2 has "English Girls Approximately", "I See Monsters", and "Hotel Chelsea" nights...it's definitely worth getting...

I have both of the EPs, plus the combined album. I'm a sucker.

You know, I don't think I've ever listened to both Love Is Hell discs together. I only have a few tracks from them on my iTunes. The first time I saw him was right before Love Is Hell came out (it might've even been the day it did) and he played This House Is Not For Sale, and I absolutely loved it, even though I'd never heard it before. It's still one of my favorites by him.

oh yea, bought my tickets last week,
seats look good, i love the Spreckels Theater
it's old timey, beautiful as hell, and has great acoustics
I saw Travis play there back in high school and it was amazing, ..however, I do recall the staff being old, cranky and very anal about no one taking pictures/recording.

Cool thing is I can ride the trolley and not worry about crappy, expensive downtown parking.
