He learns to smile and smoke at the same time on stage.

I think Cross Fired ended at the right time. Nothing went on after 81 Tour musical wise for the Stones. Everything they have done after 81 has been a 'reflect upon' the glory days. Though I do enjoy Voodoo Lounge :)

Ahh, mystery solved.

Seriously, though, they should have at least done a brief summary from 1982 to the present. After 1985, Mick and Keith were estranged from each other for 4 years. When they reunited for Steel Wheels, they appeared stronger and more focused than ever before. Plus, their studio work was pretty solid. Steel Wheels, Voodoo Lounge and Bridges to Babylon all kicked some serious ass. Even A Bigger Bang was decent.

Second show at The O2 Arena tonight. Eric Clapton, Florence Welch, and once again, former members Bill Wyman & Mick Taylor, joined the Stones on stage.

Another solid setlist, glad they played Satisfaction! There is already a video of Gimme Shelter with Florence.

Florence did reasonably well, but Lisa Fischer can't be topped. Perhaps she'll be at the NY/NJ shows.

As she's again the backing singer, she was there at the O2 shows (and did the Gimme Shelter intro). But I know what you mean. :)

Didn't even notice it was her in the video, only a couple of seconds where she was visible and from a distance. Obviously the Stones trying to remain hip by having someone like Florence join them, but jeez, unless Lisa has an issue with her throat or something that should really only be her gig.

And now watching the closer shot video, has Mick Jagger ever had one ounce of fat on his body?
You'd think after 70 years his metabolism might slow just a tiny bit.

According to Rolling Stone, Bruce Springsteen, Lady GaGa and the Black Keys are joining The Stones onstage during their PPV broadcast of the second Newark show on December 15th. Awesome. But I sort of wish it was the Stones only. Either way, it's going to be interesting.

I read somewhere today that Lady Gaga is supposed to be regular non costume wearing Lady Gaga for that show. Didn't even know it was on pay per view. How much is it?

While ticket prices are lower than the 2012 shows, the top price is well over $500, while the lowest price is at about $85, according to the Chicago show. I smell greed.
