I've spent all morning talking this over with my dad and LemonMelon and I still can't decide if I want to go or not. I mean, I want to go more than anything, but the only thing I can feasibly afford is the 300 level seats. Has someone in here already seen the tour on the original run from that high up and have any idea if it's worth it?

Lila, did you guys end up getting anything?
I could have bought tickets yesterday, yes. I tried different options in the three price levels that were offered in the Amex pre-sale. It's just too expensive for us right now, and we really don't have the money to be buying tickets. We just recently bought Muse tickets, and all of this goes on a creditcard, and we're trying not to bury ourselves in creditcard debt. The Amex pre-sale is all week I believe, until the General Sale. I can't imagine the cheaper seats ($55 listed on TM) would be in front of the stage. Which would kind of defeat the purpose for this show, no? So for now... we don't have any & aren't buying just yet. Maybe we'll watch eBay for a deal or something

We signed up for the L.A. date on the Waters thing, but didn't "win" the opportunity to buy tix in that pre-sale.

212 - Are there any videos on YouTube you can look at that might help you decide if you want to try for the upper level seats? I know at Staples Center, Upper Level is rather high up. I sat up there for a concert once, but luckily it was the first row of that section, otherwise I might have passed on the tickets. That's why we were happier when the show was originally listed at the L.A. Forum, which is more round in shape and upper level is like middle level at Staples. Hard to explain, but it was the main venue in S.Calif. and where the L.A. Lakers & Kings used to play before Staples Center was built

The $275-280 for mediocre seats (such as back floor) is a bit much. I had 5th row ctr. last tour for $230 in an auction. I'll go for the mid-priced seats this time around, unless it's in the first few rows.

Just won tickets on KLOS for the 12/13 show in Anaheim. Downside = not the show/date we wanted to go, but beggars can't be choosers. I hope we can make it. It's a Monday night in Anaheim. The drive can be horrific, especially depending upon when hubby can get off of work, assuming he can

I wasn't impressed with the $250 seats in the general sale, and the $128 ones seem sold out. I don't like the fact that they offer "official platinum seats", such as front row row for $1684.

I scored Sirius presale on Mother's Day for Vancouver.

How fitting that "Mother" got me tixs. (Well, not really... a grand for 4 plaza level seats arena side. )

Saw Roger in 2007 on the day after my mother passed on. "Wish You Were Here" was bittersweet. I'm so looking forward to this Fall.

Thanks!

Just got an email saying I have the chance to purchase pre-sale tickets for the Dec. 14 show at Staples. However, the 14th is in Anaheim, and the 30th of Nov. is in L.A.

I saw the show at the ACC in Toronto on Saturday. I am a huge Gilmour fan but I thought this show was incredible. I saw David in a much smaller venue and of course it seemed so intimate but this was a real treat as well. I was impressed with the tecnology and of course the sound was incredible. Say what you will about Roger, the man knows how to put on a show!!
