So anybody even see Gorillaz. I've been to two stores already and I don't think either had one.

Waterloo had at least one. I wasn't fortunate enough to come away with it.

$29 for 18 records after stopping by Numero, many of them favorites. Today is kicking ass so far, time to pick up some RSD exclusives.

Sweet haul, Impy. How much did you pay for that copy of Rubies, BTW?

I saw a couple for $35 and hesitated. Seemed high to me, and I suspect they'll be around. Missed out on everything else I was looking for.

Ha, I wish. But the track listing is so superb that I'm just happy to have it in any capacity.

Apparently, I got a damn good deal on Rubies.

Typing in RSD 2012 on eBay yields interesting results.

Looks like I may be getting Gorillaz after all. A friend in Portland snagged an extra copy.

Ha, I suppose it does. But the good news is that the album itself is pretty damn good.

Yeah, you guys are confirming suspicions I started having last year: one of my local shops is jacking up prices on RSD merch. I can't say I blame them too much; I'm sure their business is scraping by like all record stores these days. But it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I ended up just taking advantage of another shop's sale to pick up other stuff:

Grimes - Visions, vinyl
Pixies - Trompe le Monde cd
Big Star - Third/Sister Lovers cd
