I disagree he's one of the "great rock vocalists" of the past 2 or 3 decades. He's very good at times, but not one of my favourites. I think that he's just a very good fit for the music, and adaptable too. He can also be bloody ordinary at times, like on I Might Be Wrong, when he ruins a great riff with a nothing vocal (in. my. opinion.)

He is extremely versatile in terms of his range and ability to emote. I will still hold that Nude is the finest vocal performance in a rock song that I have ever heard.
