Don't forget the new R.E.M. album. It's like the Trifecta of alt. rock giants in one spring (assuming Shuttlecock actually gets their shit together.

Yeah I've seen Glastonbury 2003 on YT and that's a great show, especially Idioteque.

I hope I'll be able to see them when they tour. I just need to find someone who would want to go with me.

Update: Jonny Greenwood has responded on the translations via Dead Air Space:
I think this Italian writer (referred to here) has, either thorough over-enthusiasm, or frustration at all my non-committal answers, mistranslated me a little….in fact we haven’t quite finished the album – in the studio at the moment – nor have we yet considered any touring. The plan is to have no plan until the record is finished….hope that’s a little clearer!

Yeah, "huge" tour didn't sound like typical R'Head talk.

Those are Boner's lying words.

Actually, when it comes to touring, when does U2 ever do it small & intimate? Every U2 tour is huge.

Haha yes, I remember that discussion here. I'll probably have to because I really want to see them.

GODDAM IT. i swear to god if they don't come to Australia... well i'll probably be pretty pissed off. fuck your carbon footprint.

and yeah niels i caved recently and bought a ticket to The National, i'm going solo. i feel very uncomfortable about it, but think about what happens during the actual gig even if you're with friends... you're that focused on the show they could be there or not.

New thread title: "Has anyone ever taken LSD and/or hooked up at a National show?"

Even though I'm disappointed that Radiohead aren't as close as we thought, the fact that Jonny posted a link to the website I write for on Dead Air Space's front page made me very happy. To think that at least some of the band members have possibly read something I've written just seems unreal to me.
