Seriously sad.

I bought a tape of his back in the 90s because of the REM connection (never would have heard of him otherwise, probably). He had a rather unique voice.
 
This is indeed sad. He was a real talent and well liked and respected in the music industry. I wouldn't have happened across him I don't think if it weren't for Michael Stipe. The world lost a great number of talented individuals in 2009. :sad:
