It ain't too "heavy" for you?

I'm more of a fan of early Queens records, but this one is probably my favourite since Rated R.

It's one of Homme's more mellow, mid-tempo records. I'd avoid Kyuss if I were you. Because it's heavy right on the money.

I've never been a big QotSA fan, but this album is incredibly good. "I Sat by the Ocean" is one of my favorite songs this year, but the whole thing just works. It's like early-70s Black Sabbath had a baby with David Bowie and fed it a steady diet of mid-to-late Beatles.

Cool video for one of the best songs of the year.

Queens of the Stone Age - If I Had A Tail - YouTube

QOTSA and NIN are doing a tour here next year. Never envisaged I'd go, but I'm really considering it.

Really, really happy with this album. I need to hear Lullabies to Paralyze again, but I think it's my favorite since SFTD.

I haven't heard this album yet. I think Era Vulgaris hurt my want of hearing anything new by them since I was so let down by it after the gloriously epic Lullabies to Paralyze.
