I'm pleased as punch. Figured they'd only do the Dallas/Houston two step.

I'm listening to the recent gig in Syria and I'm looking forward to October.

2010 is turning out to be a damn good year for shows :dancing:

it'll be interesting to see how much of the entourage they bring (fingers dearly crossed for De La)

The number of shows in 2010 is going to leave me destitute.

I am very tempted to go to the New York show because that's a good location for "guests" to show up. Unfortunately it's right between three other out of town shows that I have tickets for and I can't justify the travel expense.

I'll have to settle for the Boston show and be thankful that it actually is in Boston.

Yep, just had another look. $65 - $110.50. fucking lame.

Its a weird seating chart too. looks like they're only using half of the arena

Plastic Beach gets a vinyl release on the 24th, which is great news. I'll just get that rather than a $110 ticket for their show.

Ugh, but this makes the ticket price seem worth it.

Palladia is showing some of the Roundhouse gig tonight at 9pm eastern.

MTV World Stage: Gorillaz

Saturday, 8/28 at 9pm Gorillaz perform live at The Camden Roundhouse in London with some very special guests. Performance includes hits such as "Feel Good, Inc." with De La Soul and "Stylo" with Bobby Womack and Mos Def.

The show Palladia ran is stupid good. I'm watching it right now and they're tearing "Glitter Freeze" up. I'm probably going to just bite the bullet and get a ticket. The show seems unmissable.

The obnoxiously cute azn playing the violin was the best part of the show, and that's saying a lot.

N.E.R.D. join the tour at Boston's Agganis Arena and will be performing all the North American dates except Montreal, QC and Wallingford, CT.

A preview of what can be expected when the guests join the Gorillaz live band this fall on hits Stylo, Rhinestone Eyes, Feel Good Inc. and more can be seen in the official tour trailer now live at: YouTube - Gorillaz. The World Tour is coming...

If it were just Little Dragon doing an opening set and Yukimi coming out for "Empire Ants" in the main set, I'd about shit myself.

Incidentally, I've listened to this album more than any other this year. I don't get sick of it. If I weren't such a National fanboy, it very well could be my #1.

Not any less coherent than their previous albums. The debut is really spotty, and I was shocked at how bored I got with Demon Days yesterday. The only track I actively dislike on Plastic Beach is "Some Kind of Nature," so give me that album any day.

i haven't heard any of the others, so i can't comment. the highs on Plastic Beach (Empire Ants, Stylo, Glitter Freeze, On Melancholy Hill, Sweepstakes...) are undeniably high though.

You left out the Snoop track and "Rhinestone Eyes," but I do agree. "Sweepstakes" owns my soul, and it was unreal live on that MTV World Stage show they ran on Palladia.

yeah the Snoop track is fucking sick too, though it takes a while to get going.

Sweepstakes reminds me i have to check out Mos Def... i've loved everything i've heard by him so far.

I just read this on the Gorillaz Facebook page.

Gorillaz will perform on the Late Show with David Letterman on October 7th.

Lou Reed and Mos Def will join Gorrilaz at the October 8th Madison Square Garden show.

Freaking lucky New Yorkers. Why didn't I get tickets to this show again?
