It looks like I hadn't bought a single album for almost three months. :reject:
But today I started to right that wrong:
Beans & Fatback - S/T
Nick Drake - Pink Moon
Lohues & The Louisiana Blues Club - Ja Boeh

Miles Davis - And The Modern Jazz Giants
Miles Davis - Birds Of Paradise
Miles Davis - Collectors' Items
Thelonious Monk & John Coltrane - The Complete 1957 Riverside Recordings

Jazz sale :)

Forgot I'd pre-ordered it, but this arrived this morning:

Jimmy Eat World - 'Invented'

Any good?

They seemed to try to make their sound a little more "grown up", probably not wanting to any longer be associated with the sub-genre they helped create. The results are a strange mix of refreshing and disappointing. They still sound like themselves, and are enjoyable like always., but the songs are fairly forgettable on the first few listens. It still seems like a nice album, but it's definitely not one of their best.

Bought these just before my holiday, but hadn't had time yet to name them:
Bob Dylan - No Direction Home
Bob Dylan - Together Through Life
Emmylou Harris - Elite Hotel
Emmylou Harris - Luxury Liner
The Jayhawks - Hollywood Town Hall
John Legend - Get Lifted
Mumford & Sons - Sigh No More
Sugababes - Taller In More Ways
Tom Waits - Closing Time
Paul Weller - Stanley Road
V/A - Motown: The Complete No. 1's

The New Pornographers - 'Challengers'
Flying Lotus - 'Pattern + Grid World'
Modest Mouse - 'Building Nothing Out of Something'

Grinderman - Grinderman 2

Bought the vinyl version, actually. It comes with a big 16-page booklet (I think the same one as in the ltd. edition, but then LP sized), a weird poster (Grinderman as Roman soldiers???) and the album on CD too. Not bad. :)
Now, let me check out the music...

Sufjan Stevens - 'Age of Adz' (yay for z's)
Belle & Sebastian - 'Write About Love'

sufjan stevens - the age of adz
blur - s/t
pedro the lion - it's hard to find a friend
the innocence mission - my room in the trees

Solomon Burke & De Dijk - Hold On Tight
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - The Good Son
Elbow - Asleep In The Back (Deluxe Edition)
U2 - 360 Promotional Radio Sampler
