Let me know what you think, I'm liking it quite a bit for being a "solo side project" type thing.

I'm liking it a great deal, could be one of my favourite releases so far this year, Dark moody electronic music with bizarre vocals and a creepy B&W album cover? Yes please. I'm actually unfamiliar with The Knife, is their stuff similar to this?

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - It's Blitz!
Doves - Kingdom of Rust
Bat for Lashes - Two Suns

The Killers - Day & Age
Kings of Leon - Only By the Night
Doves - The Last Broadcast

Antony and the Johnsons - The Crying Light
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - It's Blitz
Radiohead - Kid A (vinyl)
Miles Davis - Filles de Kilimanjaro
Ornette Coleman - Free Jazz
Catherine Wheel - Chrome
My Morning Jacket - Z

Oh, I almost forgot. I was going to the movies the other day and I missed my exit off the freeway, so 'lo and behold what do you know? I ended up at my used cd shop.

Girl Talk -- Unstoppable
Mutemath -- Mutemath
People In Planes -- As Far As The Eye Can See . . .
Pixies -- Surfer Rosa

I don't know what movie you were going to see, but I'd say the CD store was a better choice from the looks of it.

I finally went on the Tower.com spree I've been planning.

Motorhead--No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith (for Steve)
Vivaldi--(Andrew Manze) - Concert for the Prince of Poland
Panda Bear--Person Pitch
Junior Kimbrough--You Better Run: The Essential Junior Kimbrough
Vivaldi--(Christopher Hogwood)--The Four Seasons (This is the Academy of Ancient Music.)

Vivaldi + Motorhead

I would have liked to see the clerk's face on that. Too bad Tower doesn't exist as an actual store any more...

DYLAN

a double album of dylans best songs for a fiver, free postage and packaging, HMsexyV

Double or triple? ;)

And it finally arrived on my doorstep, a package of used CDs bought over the Internet:
Ella Fitzgerald - The Rodgers And Hart Songbook Volume 1
Golden Earring - Moontan
Robert Johnson - King Of The Delta Blues Singers (Volume 2)
The Orb - U.F.Orb
Ramones - All The Stuff And More (Volume Two)
The Temptations - Psychedelic Soul
The Who - Live At Leeds

And there was a nice surprise with U.F.Orb by The Orb, in it was also a bonus single of Blue Room (including a 40-minute full length version).
:)

Borders is having a sale, with some cds 40% off. The Santa Barbara store didn't have shit, but the Long Beach store had a few. I would have brought home more, but their stupid listening stations don't work.

Danger Doom--Mouse and the Mask
Bowie--Aladdin Sane
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds--The Abattoir Blues Tour

I recently bought three vinyls to hang in my dorm that I already have the CD version of...

Magic by Bruce Springsteen
Everything That Happens by Eno & Byrne
No Line On The Horizon by ... I can't remember :hmm: ???

I bought a couple of Vinyl Albums last night of ebay from a band called u2. Bought The Joshua Tree and The Unforgettable Fire:drool:. Wonder if they are any good:hmm::hyper:
Im getting back into collecting vinyl:up:

Never let me loose in Amsterdam... :shifty:

New:
Willie Nelson - The Complete Atlantic Sessions

Used:
Robert Johnson - King Of The Delta Blues Singers
Stevie Wonder - Fulfillingness' First Finale
Stevie Wonder - Hotter Than July

Funny thing about that Robert Johnson disc. For a long time I'd been looking for that one somewhere used (thus, cheap) but didn't see it anywhere. And now, within a few weeks, I've found both discs.

Airborne Toxic Event - Airborne Toxic Event (New)

Adam said they were good, and I've liked a lot of Adams suggestions in the past, so I bought it right away. Haven't listened to it.

Celebrating Record Store Day early....

Silversun Pickups - 'Swoon'
Royksopp - 'Junior'
The Thermals - 'Now We Can See'
Radiohead - 'The Bends' ultra deluxe fancy edition with 2 CDs + DVD
Radiohead - 'Pablo Honey' ultra deluxe fancy edition with 2 CDs + DVD
U2 - 'Medium, Rare & Remastered' 2CDs

I have no self control!
