Seriously! 34 songs total (15 on disc 1 and 19 on disc 2) including all the hits you can think of!

 That is amazing!! I am so not waiting until the end of next week. I'm going Monday after work. I don't think I'll get a chance to before then. The rest of my night and my day tomorrow are pretty booked. :grumpy: Oh, well..I can wait, I suppose.

By the way, I think these are new mixes for the 40th anniversary (1967 - 2007). There are a few variations in some songs. Maybe that is why the set was so cheap, I don't know. But that doesn't take anything away for me. I love these versions and most of the time it's hard to even tell the difference from the originals!

How's that one? I've heard some good things about it. Also bought some Ray Charles this summer (The Birth Of Soul boxset and The Genius Of Ray Charles). He's tops!

me: The Everly Brothers - The Everly Brothers' Best

It's nice.

I was actually expecting a country record.

But it's not.

It's country standards.

But with the Ray Charles treatment. Lush strings, background singers, lotsa piano.

His cover of "You Are My Sunshine" is quite funky.
