If it's not good, blame the LA Times! (I haven't listened to it yet! They were great live though, saw them open for Liars)

I thought you would have gotten Russian Circles.

I pre-ordered it from the record company the minute I saw your post about it leaking and I love it. (So I can blame you for that one too. Hey, this is easy. :hmm: )

I got a ticket to see them on a Saturday night in June. :hyper:

I've actually never heard them before except for clips on iTunes today, so someone else is to blame for this one.

I saw it in the store and almost got it from remembering people saying it's good. They had a lot of copies, so I figured I'd wait.

I went on a cassette tape purchasing spree. THEY WERE ONLY A QUARTER A PIECE AND I HAVE A TAPE PLAYER IN MY CAR BACK OFF!

:shifty: ahem, anyways, I got a shitton of stuff including:

Springsteen ~ Lucky Town (Don't know how excited I am to hear this though...haven't heard one good thing about it)

Bowie ~ Let's Dance: Started listening to it on the way home, AMAZING.

I actually can't remember what else I bought that would be remotely interesting....Except MC Hammer's first album DON'T JUDGE ME!

I also got three new '45s
Pride ~ U2
Under Pressure ~ Bowie/Queen
Dancing in the Dark ~ Springsteen

AND! I got Peter Gabriel's first five albums on vinyl

i like lucky town :grumpy: like it quite a bit. human touch deserves all the bad rap that it gets, but not lucky town.

i would love to go on a tape buying spree at 25 cents a pop. i'd even spend the money on the size c batteries it would take to get the ghettoblaster working again....

Maybe it's Human Touch that gets the bad rap, and I have this thing about connecting the two of them (can't imagine why  ). I'm def. going to give the album a shot I promise.

I bought a lot of greatest hits tapes and stuff because I'm going home on Friday, and that's a 14 hour drive, and I wanted to listen to music I knew in order to stay...awake

i think both albums were released the same day or something like that...

14 hour drive :crack:

Yeah they were I think, that was what I was referring to

the 14 hour drive is what the Hammer album is for :shh:

Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
Tom Petty - Full Moon Fever

The tapes are all out in my car, that's why Ican't remember.
