I actually haven't listened to it yet other than a few songs... I've liked what I've heard though. Still no clue what's on the DVD.

Picked this up at the show last night for collecting purposes (since you can download it from the band's site for free).

Explosions in the Sky - 'The Rescue'

Porcupine Tree - In Absentia

My 3rd PT album so far. On first listen this one sounds less accessible than Deadwing or ...Blank Planet. I'll have to give it more listens. After this one, I'm thinking Sky Moves Sideways.

I was bad today...but at least they were on sale.

Bright Eyes - Noise Floor
Bright Eyes - Motion Sickness
Wilco - A.M.
Elliott Smith - Elliott Smith
Rhett Miller - The Instigator

I've been needing to fill those holes in my Bright Eyes collection, and I think I have every Wilco CD now, except for Kicking Television. I've been enjoying burned copies of the Rhett Miller and Elliott Smith discs for a very long time, so I figured I should make it official. Good day today! :D

Elbow * The Seldom Seen Kid

It's been non stop in my cd player for over a week now.. buy this album!! Forget about Coldplay, Editors or whatever.. This is by far the best band from the UK ( with radiohead) I cannot understand why so few people know them.. (Sorry for the rant, but I had to get it off my chest )

I would say it depends on what you like from them. Sky Moves is very psychedilic (sp) space rock. it's interesting but it has some very long songs on it (one is 40 minutes). It is very different from FoaBP, Deadwing and IA. If you don't have Nil Recurring, I'd say that one b/c it helps make some sense out of FoABP and I think its better too! I'd also recommend Stupid Dream.

That being said Nil Recurring - Porcupine Tree was the last album I bought.

R.E.M. - Accelerate

Muse - Haarp (Live CD & DVD)

$9.99 and $13.99 at FYE
