oh wow, that was a great performance for sure!

I always liked Young, but lately I listended to some Stephen Stills stuff, the very old things. Wow, what a talented man, but it seems like he lost everything of his talent in recent years. My uncle plays in a CSNY cover band, and when I visit him I often watch millions on his dvds and it's just sad to see some gigs from 2005 in comparison to e.g. Manassas....

Have you heard Stills' Man Alive? I really loved that CD. I see him whenever I can. I won't tell you it's the same because it's not, but he still has these incredible moments.

Any comments on Fork In The Road?

I'm not sure if he's going for irony with this one or if he really has lost his mind. The lyrics are fucking terrible, but that could be intentional. You've got to give ol' Neil the benefit of the doubt after albums like Trans.

Anyone seent the brilliant doco of him touring around AmericA and dealing with the anger towards him playing some of his openly anti-Bush tunes.

Worth a look, should see the reaction of all the redneck conservative wankers when he plays Let's Impeach The President, all the booing, and the threats of violence against Young after the gig. Pretty immense.

My introduction to Neil Young was the "Dead Man" soundtrack.
