My Bloody Valentine vs. Chicago: Tinnitus FTW

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

Finally gave this enough listens to say you can throw me in the "I love this album" camp.

Would it surprise anyone if I said I have not heard Loveless?

I've probably already posted the same thing six times in this thread.

Perhaps I will listen to m b v first, so mofo gets annoyed.

Finally got around to this thing. Damn strong album. It's commendable and impressive that after all these years they are still able to capture such a unique aesthetic. The thing is a bit disjointed though, isn't it? Some parts seem like they were recorded in 1992, and others like last year. Or maybe I'm just drunk.

Oh, and the woman should sing on every track. Sorry to sound reductive; I just can't remember her name right now.

I wish I liked that one as much as everyone else. I love the first two, but that song hasn't grabbed me yet.

In Another Way

Hell, basically the whole thing

I'm still not sure what my favorite is. I really like this album, but I still haven't had a chance to really dig in.

Now that I've listened to this album a few times I can say I like it. My favorites are Only Tomorrow, Wonder 2, If I Am and In Another Way, in that order. I can't listen to Nothing Is and Is This and Yes bores me. So yeah good, not great.

Is there any truth to this three EP's with three tracks each theory? Because it sounds really plausible.

Good morning, everyone.

No shipment notification here either. I haven't listened to the album even once this week. I'll have to fix that this weekend.

I poked around the MBV website this morning and couldn't find any updates on shipping. It still says that the vinyl is (was) scheduled to ship February 22 and to allow 14-28 days for delivery.

They did update the cover art for the vinyl and the CD, but that's about it.

No shipping notification. The LP was not wrapped and there is no record company or anything listed on the shipping label, which is white and has a return address from Southall. It came Royal Mail.

Basically, it looks like a bomb or a giant box of anthrax but isn't.

Thanks. I ordered right after the site uncrashed, so hopefully it will get here soon.
