Music help please

Its weird for me to be asking that question but does anyone know who the band was that played on the Conan O'brian show just now. We have high winds here and we lost power in our house before I got to hear who they were, but I really Liked the music. Give DMP some help if you can!

Julian Casablancas according to NBC.com. He's the lead singer of The Strokes, and he has a new album out just this month I do believe.
