The term "experimental" is used in so many different ways and so many different circumstances that I was wondering how people would define it.

What is the most experimental/odd/left-field album you have come across?

For me, it's probably Bjork's Medulla. The basic idea is nearly all the instrumentation comes from the human mouth - not necessarily vocals, because there is a lot beat-boxing-esque stuff - which makes the entire thing very trippy, landing somewhere between meticulous and childish.
