Mini Island - DI Spinoff V

Back for another round of our DI mini tournaments for the first time in nearly two years, and this one will literally be a mini, as in a mini version of our regular Desert Island contests.

All rules that apply to regular DI are in force for this tournament, except that this time, your playlist cannot go over 80 minutes in length. And, as always with mini-tournaments, songs used in prior DIs are allowed. Still only one song per artist, however.

Let's shoot for July 22 as the submission due date, and we'll get the first Master List thread up shortly after (or sooner if enough entries come in early).

I'm going to put 20 spots up for now and see how it goes. Quite a few have already announced their intention to participate, but we'll get the official roll call going here:

I've already got mine picked, actually. And thanks to it and listening to the new Bon Iver album, I've figured out what my list is going to sound like. Getting the songs together tonight has been so much fucking fun. And making me very nostalgic...for reasons...that you shall find out soon!

I was surprised that nobody (to the best of my recollection) noted the second track of my last list was in French. I at least expected a couple of bad jokes. But then the opening four songs of that list got the least comment of any portion, even though I think that was one of the list's best passages.
