Thanks Digi, I havent heard many of the b-sides. I'll have to definitly check those out!!

For all you fellow Idlewild fans:

There are 3 new acoustic performance videos up on www.rollingstone.com of Idlewild. The new ones are: I'm Happy Just To Be Here Tonight, What If You Held the World, and American Engish.

I couldnt get American English to work. Held the World was AMAZING. I have an acoustic version of it on mp3, but this one was SOOOOOO much better. Really cool.

Just thought I'd tell you all, hopefully someone will be interested.

I have a new favourite song:

i thought home is where we went when we fell out of favour
ive since learned that home is where we go to learn what favours are
home is a language we all understand
and this is how the language came to me
i realise
home is where we dont feel things
fortune has arranged that the language wont abandon us
it never will abandon us
if you dont miss your home

i cant remember much about my home
when im away from...

home, where were welcome
we appear to be like you
the were welcome when we
appear to be alike

living in fiction
just seems much better than living in words
if you live in fiction
homes no match for a word

ever existence
the more you go on the same as before
the more you light up the same as this time
the more you sing
all your songs about
all your...

living in fiction
is much more better than living in words
if you live in fiction
homes much better than words

living in fiction
just seems much better than living in words
if you live in fiction
then homes no better than words

im in fiction [x6]

and what i see it seems so standard
it always seems that youre left stranded [x6]

why dont you look beyond
the village wall?
look beyond the village wall
weve got four walls at home
got four walls at home
and these walls around your head
thats what they are
theyre walls around your head
an empty head is creative
and direct me
to where you come from
and what you thought you knew
where you come from

[?]

home is the most overused word [x4]
love is the most overused word
just are the most overused words
picture this the most overused word
you are the most overused word
i leave the most overused word
i thank the most overused word
musics the most overused word
time is the most overused word
this is the most overused word
moments the most overused word
moments the most overused word
the most overused word
the most overused word
but not as much as home
and where you come from
but not as much as home
and where you come from
not as much as home
nothing tells you so much more than home

Please do.

Oh, and ask how much they'd charge to do a wedding.

And tell him he has the best hair ever.

And enjoy all of Rod's scissor kicks and scarily high jumps on stage and Roddy's rolling around.

I WANT IDLEWILD! :scream:

I am so jealous.

Idlewild will be on Carson Daily's Last Call on April 28 (next Monday)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yee haw and stuff!!

Well, a band called Outrageous Orange opened, they kinda sucked, but played for about 40 of us, then came The People.....I liked these guys enough to buy thier cd, pretty good.

Then Idlewild came out, Roddy seemed both pissed and drunk.. He said,.....:Columbus was overestimated"......and they played for a little over an hour.......after they came back out for the encore he said "i thought you all might go home, thanks for staying"......I really enjoyed the show, but you could kinda tell they were embarrased/disapointed in the crowd being so small. It literally was less than 100!

Oh well, if they make it big, I can always say I say them when,,,,,,,

This is so so good - If you do not own the actual CD of the Remote Part - you need it just for this song alone - not to mention the other 11.

Kicks self for not getting the UK release along time ago and settling for MP3's

The UK release had different bonus material, though. Just a couple of videos. The US material is much better.

I think there were probably about 200 in Baltimore. Maybe 250.

you guys are funny!

We had about 200 in Minnesota too.

Pearl Jam was here in Champaign last night....I had to do a double take and see who was opening. I would have figured out a way in to see Idlewild again.

June 16 will come quickly.
