I really enjoyed seeing him open for Caribou this past year; he puts on a great show.

So I've heard! Really glad he's added this show - he's doing another in Melbourne the next night, and for a while I was dithering over whether to see him or Deep Sea Arcade/Surf City. Glad I dithered long enough until this show was announced, so I can see both.

And add to this:

All in Melbourne:

1 January: Built To Spill (Corner Hotel)
3 January: Neon Indian (Toff In Town)
13 January: Alpine and Kimbra (Federation Square)
28 January: The Verlaines (East Brunswick Club)
12 February: Tim Finn (Corner Hotel)
17 February: Toro Y Moi (Toff In Town)
18 February: Deep Sea Arcade and Surf City (Northcote Social Club)
19 February: Swervedriver (Corner Hotel)
25 February: Alpine (Corner Hotel)
6 March: Best Coast (East Brunswick Club)
11 March: The Clean (Corner Hotel)
25 March: Sparkadia, Operator Please, and Alpine (Hi-Fi Bar)

9 February: Warpaint and Seja (Northcote Social Club)

Ooh, and The Smallgoods are opening for Built To Spill, cool!

Forgot:

23 February - Michael Buble

:yikes:

:p

These are the only confirmed shows I'm going to:

Saturday April 23rd - Mogwai
June - U2 (Anaheim 1 and 2)
July - U2 (Montreal 1 and 2)

Forgot:

23 February - Michael Buble

Enjoy Iron Maiden!

They're playing next door at Hisense that night, so I imagine everybody at Michael Bublé will have trouble hearing him over the Irons.

So far, I don't have any shows until the summer.

June 22 - U2 (Baltimore, MD)
July 2 - U2 (Nashville, TN)
July 6 - Sade (Boston, MA)
July 20 - U2 (East Rutherford, NJ)
July 26 - U2 (Pittsburgh, PA)

June 26- U2, East Lansing
July 26- U2, Pittsburgh

Those are the only 2 confirmed ones, although I hope to see:

Radiohead
R.E.M.
Coldplay

In that order of importance.

February 13, 15, 16 17, 18 & possibly 22 -- The Church

...so my concert going this year starts out with a bang, but will most likely be dismal thereafter.

Shows I'm going to:
April ?? 2011 (probably the 16th) - Movin' On Music Festival - State College, PA
July 14 2011 - U2 - Philadelphia, PA

Show I'll try and most likely fail to make due to being at school:
February 24 2011 - Beach House - Philadelphia, PA

Show I can't go to because it's 21+:
January 23 2011 - Little Dragon - Philadelphia, PA

Moody J, I'm jealous you get to go to Sade, I just couldn't afford tickets when they went on sale.

Thanks for the tip! Soldier of Love was definitely a nice reminder of their talents.

don't know the dates (am even a bit vague on the months!)

Feb- White Lies (Birmingham and 2 in London)
April (or maybe May)- Kylie
June or July- Take That

also hoping that REM play some small venues in the UK this time- I refused to see them on the last tour due to where they were playing. Also likely to be some Duran concerts in Feb/March

For the first time in a long time I have nothing on the concert calendar - except a whole lotta U2. :D However, like others I do expect to hit REM, Coldplay, hopefully Radiohead and perhaps The Strokes, at the very least, in the coming year.

March 30 - U2, Buenos Aires
April 2 - U2, Buenos Aires
May 21 - U2, Denver
June 22 - U2, Baltimore
July 8 - U2, Montreal
July 9 - U2, Montreal
July 20 - U2, New Jersey

As of now:

June 29 - U2 - Miami

Probably some other shows, but nothing worth seeing here in PR for now.
