I've been listening to some stuff from The Black Angels and Cold Cave. I'm really excited to see them both now.

And...the summer schedule really isn't as great as in the past few years around here. Only non-U2 show I had to look forward to was Soundgarden but once again, their NYC area dates clash head-on with U2 in Montreal... :angry:

BUT their date at Ottawa Bluesfest fits in very nicely as a side trip with Montreal for U2, so...I'm seein' them there. :)

Afrojack and Far East Movement at Schlitterbaun, SPI, Easter weekend '11

I've got tix for the Electric Daisy Carnival in Dallas, TX
and hopefully another U2 show, maybe in Nashville or Pittsburgh
 
I heard the Schlitterbahn in Padre is like the sexually abused, freckled foster child of the one in New Braunfels.
 
Saw the Cars the other night in Los Angeles...It was a show for us old farts. Started at 8:20pm over before 10:00pm

lol it is and I really dont understand why they throw concerts there. The Tiesto and Snoop Dogg shows were great music wise but the stage and rigging were absolute horrible. Too small IMO

And for the Afrojack/Far East Movement show, the decided to build the stage towards the back side of the park where it was nothing but sand, dirt, and gravel so you can imagine the sandstorms brewing when all the chicks were doing they're shitty dancing
