Build your best possible collection of artists/bands but you are restricted to only one artist/band per alphabet.

I don't have a single song of theirs. What's a good place to start?

For X, it would be between X, XTC and The XX. Probably would go with XTC because their discography is so full of interesting twists and even their later stuff is pretty good.

Z is a close race between Frank Zappa, Warren Zevon and The Zombies. Zombies made one of my favorite albums of all time, so I would probably go with them, although Zappa's discography is awesome and Zevon's songwriting is clearly the strongest of the three. They're all good.

I have a couple of XTC songs and one Zappa song in my itunes from DI exchanges and what not. But I don't even remember how they go. Maybe I'll give them a listen now.
