Seeing a lot of shouts for Queen. By all accounts, they were live legends and their singles collections are fucking insane. But god damn, A Night At The Opera is the only album of theirs I can listen to all the way through. They made unbelievably shit albums.

They had their share of clunkers, for sure. But when you have a career that long, there's bound to be some.

And I think QOTSA's output has been much more inconsistent than Queen's.

Haha indeed. I think that's more likely the reason why many have picked Queen for Q. I'm not discounting their albums per se though.

I completely agree. Besides Night at the Opera, Sheer Heart Attack is the only album of theirs I really like. The "classics" are always full of poor/unremarkable material. They're a frustrating band.

QOTSA's discography is much stronger, if you ask me.
