I don't doubt that Murphy wanted to take some time off, I don't think the break was chosen just because it would be good PR. But the manner in which they did it, with the whole final show aspect and everything certainly was. Which, you know, good for him. I'm glad more people that I know have enjoyed this band.

Regardless of the reason for the reunion, I was really annoyed when I walked past Webster Hall (I was having drinks close by) last Sunday and saw all the lucky bastards in line who managed to get tickets.

Fingerprints will be cray-cray, as the kids say nowadays.

BUT, I leave for Yosemite on Monday morning.

So there's that. Grrrrrr.

Do you think they're gonna road-test new songs off of the album that's supposed to come out this year?

AXS makes you long for Ticketmaster, and that's just wrong.

Man that really put a damper on my morning. As it is, I'm out walking in the rain. Could this BE any more cinematic?

I stayed up and waited till 1:30 AM to watch it live and fell asleep during "Movement". I missed all the songs I was most looking forward to (Home, Dance Yrself Clean, and All My Friends). Then I come to find out they played "Heroes". I'm pissed I fell asleep.

They covered a little bit of GNR's November Rain, too.

So no one showed up for their "T in the Park" gig. So sad and depressing. They really need to come out with a new album here pretty soon to keep people interested. They play the same exact sets every single night.
