Laura Marling - Alas I Cannot Swim

OK so I bought into the media hype and I must say while it's not entirely justified she's written some excellent songs. Pity 'New Romantic' is not on the album though, I like that song alot.

I also bought the Noah and the Whale album but I haven't had time to listen to it yet, although I've also heard good things about it.

But yeah, check it out!

Wouldn't say she was underrated in the UK, she had quite a bit of major exposure on TV, Jools Holland, The Culture Show on the BBC, and all the broadsheets had stories on her as I recall when she first became known. The Times is forever on about her. She's great though.
