Despite pretty much ignoring them for the year, I finished 2008 with some U2. 11 O'clock Tick Tock from Red Rocks was the last song I played in full in 2008, then I had New Year's Day on as the clock ticked over to 2009.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

The Beach Boys - I'm Waiting For The Day

Pretty damn depressing, but it's a good song.

Electric Feel was the last song I remember hearing in 2008....that could've been at about 10.30pm though.

Live Your Life first song I heard in '09 - amazing tune. Rihanna
