I saw one of them on Twitter. Too lazy to go find it, but it was unenthralling.

But. I don't care about the lyrics if the song is awesome.

BORN THIS WAY
WRITTEN BY: LADY GAGA
PRODUCED BY: LADY GAGA, FERNANDO GARIBAY, DJ WHITE SHADOW
MIXED AND ENGINEERED BY: DAVID RUSSEL

INTRO:
It doesn't matter if you love him, or capital H-I-M
Just put your paws up
’cause you were Born This Way, Baby

VERSE:
MY MAMA TOLD ME WHEN I WAS YOUNG
WE ARE ALL BORN SUPERSTARS

SHE ROLLED MY HAIR AND PUT MY LIPSTICK ON
IN THE GLASS OF HER BOUDOIR

SHE SAID, "'CAUSE HE MADE YOU PERFECT, BABE"

"SO HOLD YOUR HEAD UP GIRL AND YOU'LL GO FAR,
LISTEN TO ME WHEN I SAY"

CHORUS:
I'M BEAUTIFUL IN MY WAY
'CAUSE GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES
I'M ON THE RIGHT TRACK BABY
I WAS BORN THIS WAY

DON'T HIDE YOURSELF IN REGRET
JUST LOVE YOURSELF AND YOU'RE SET
I'M ON THE RIGHT TRACK BABY
I WAS BORN THIS WAY

POST-CHORUS:
OOO THERE AIN'T NO OTHER WAY
BABY I WAS BORN THIS WAY
BABY I WAS BORN THIS WAY
OOO THERE AIN'T NO OTHER WAY
BABY I WAS BORN-
I'M ON THE RIGHT TRACK BABY
I WAS BORN THIS WAY

DON'T BE A DRAG -JUST BE A QUEEN
DON'T BE A DRAG -JUST BE A QUEEN
DON'T BE A DRAG -JUST BE A QUEEN
DON'T BE!

VERSE:
GIVE YOURSELF PRUDENCE
AND LOVE YOUR FRIENDS
SUBWAY KID, REJOICE YOUR TRUTH

IN THE RELIGION OF THE INSECURE
I MUST BE MYSELF, RESPECT MY YOUTH

A DIFFERENT LOVER IS NOT A SIN

I LOVE MY LIFE I LOVE THIS RECORD AND
MI AMORE VOLE FE YAH (LOVE NEEDS FAITH)

BRIDGE:

DON'T BE A DRAG, JUST BE A QUEEN
WHETHER YOU'RE BROKE OR EVERGREEN
YOU'RE BLACK, WHITE, BEIGE, CHOLA DESCENT
YOU'RE LEBANESE, YOU'RE ORIENT
WHETHER LIFE'S DISABILITIES
LEFT YOU OUTCAST, BULLIED, OR TEASED
REJOICE AND LOVE YOURSELF TODAY
'CAUSE BABY YOU WERE BORN THIS WAY

NO MATTER GAY, STRAIGHT, OR BI,
LESBIAN, TRANSGENDERED LIFE
I'M ON THE RIGHT TRACK BABY
I WAS BORN TO SURVIVE
NO MATTER BLACK, WHITE OR BEIGE
CHOLA OR ORIENT MADE

I WAS BORN THIS WAY HEY!
I WAS BORN THIS WAY HEY!
I'M ON THE RIGHT TRACK BABY
I WAS BORN THIS WAY HEY!

I'd only seen one or two lines on Twitter, and by themselves they were underwhelming.

Now how about leaking an actual song, Gaga? Nothing shit-related, please.

Smartly, she elected not to leak the lyrics to LoveGame before the beat could mask them.

Most of her songs work the same way, so this was probably a bad idea.

Lady GaGa called in to the show today to wish Ellen (DeGeneres) a Happy Birthday and she talked about her new cd due out in May but that she is in fact going to debut the new song at the Grammys and she promised Ellen she would also guest on her show soon and perform the song also.

The single hits radio in about 12 hours. I'm stoked.

Her new song sounds waaay too much like Madonna's "Express Yourself". What a disappointment.

Elton John said that the new single is "the anthem that is going to obliterate 'I Will Survive'." Verdicts?

Well, it's kind of unsurprising for the gays to like it this much, no?

I feel like I've already heard a dozen variations of this song over the years.

But what is?

fair enough. it's just that Sir "Babydaddy" Elton John hyped it so. (though i never liked "I Will Survive").

i will dutifully report back how "the gays" respond as i'm heading out tonight.

i will say that "Fuck You" is far, far more beloved by "the gays" than "Hold it Against Me." at least where i hang out. so it's not like Gaga's going to get a free pass every time she poots out a single.

Oh heaven forbid a straight guy assumes a song by a gay icon about being born a certain way and including the lyric "don't be a drag, just be a queen" will be swiftly embraced by the gay community.

'Tis pretty good. Honestly, I think my favorite part of the song is that wonderfully oonts-y bit between the spoken-word intro and the first verse.
