For those of you who might not have heard of her, she's a well-known folk singer and also the mother of Martha and Rufus Wainwright.

Very sad. A few days ago I'd heard that Rufus Wainwright had canceled his AU/NZ tour because of the illness of a family member, so I was pretty sure whoever it was had something pretty major. A real shame.
