Rock n' Roll Doggie FOB
Out this week is the debut solo offering from Interpol frontman Paul Banks, going under the alias of Julian Plenti.
Album has already leaked I'm pretty sure and I think all the songs are on You Tube, but I'll probably go and buy this from a local when it's out in Melbourne. Heard some snippets on Amazon and I'm liking what I'm hearing. Something different from Interpol, sounding a little more acoustically driven and from what I've heard, Banksy's voice sounds consistently fragile ("daisy in my lazy eye" - Rest My Chemistry)...rather than the hammering, snappy, almost nasally vocal he uses a lot with Interpol (All Fired Up, Heinrich Manoever, C'Mere)
