John Frusciante - Letur Lefr (new EP)

Friends,

Check out John Frusciante`s new EP called Letur Lefr.

It doesn`t sound anything like the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
That`s usual with John`s albums.
But it also sounds different than he has done before on his solo albums.

Cheers, Mauwer

Check the full EP here,

Man, this is one of the most head-scratching things I've ever heard. John Frusciante, an ex-Red Hot Chili Pepper, releases a synth-pop/electronica/hip-hop EP. Here's the tracklisting:

In Your Eyes (ft. Nicole Turley)
909 Day (ft. Leggezin Fin, Masia One, Kinetic 9 & RZA)
Glowe
FM (ft. Kinetic 9, Rugged Monk & RZA)
In My Light (ft. RZA)

I fucking love it though. It's right in my wheelhouse. Thanks so much for passing it on Mauwer, I would never have even heard of it otherwise

Supposedly he has an album coming out later this year, called "PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone". Comes out September 25.

The EP just gets better and better with each listen
Curious how PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone will sound?

Cheers, Mauwer

Incidentally, Flea has also just released an EP, Helen Burns. It's quite ambient, paino-laden. Has horns, but no Flea vocals or bass in sight. If you're in the mood it's really quite good.

Get it here, pay-what-you-want, money goes to Silverlake Conservatory of Music (I promptly got it for $0.00).
