Jenny Lewis - the Voyager

Anyone hear Jenny Lewis's new album, the Voyager? I can't get these songs out of my head. Great tunes.

I haven't heard her new one yet, but she's pretty ok. I'll likely get around to it, at some point. Sounds promising.

Great article in the NYT about her career and new album.

I'm really looking forward to it. I loved Acid Tongue.

I caught a little of her Lollapalooza set on satellite radio this weekend. The few new songs I heard were great. Yay.

Very good first 3 songs. Last song, title track, is amazing.

I'd like to return to Jenny Lewis and just say that I think she is superb. The Voyager and Rabbit Fur Coat are probably my two favourite albums by a female artist, while the song Acid Tongue would easily be my favourite of hers.

Incredible voice, it has this quality that makes me feel something I can't describe.

Some good songs with Rilo Kiley too, while I enjoyed seeing her in A Very Murray Christmas.

Two thumbs up.

I just listened to Acid Tongue yesterday. Another good one.

I like Elvis Costello, but when he starts his verse in Carpetbaggers, I bust out laughing. Has he ever sounded so whiny? He sounds like someone doing an impersonation of his worst vocal tendencies.
