"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

#6 - Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon

Meh.

Quote:
Impossible to listen to. Radio and stoopid Pink Floyd fans have made this impossible to hear. It's not really that great.. Good for drugs that need to listen to something while they are being used. Just impossible. Impossible to rate this. Can't help but give it a bad rating because it is like Disneyland or something.. Avoid this album at nearly all costs (and by that I mean, of course, do not spend money on it! You can practically 'breathe' this one in.. )

ROGER WATERS CRIES.

ROGER WATERS CRIES ABOUT FUCKING EVERYTHING.

He as cried about having a loving mother.

He has cried about being lucky enough to have an education at all, much less a good education in one of the richest countries on earth.

He has cried about being born into wealth.

He has cried about being a popular musician.

And on this album he cries about fucking time itself. Yes, Roger, the world is conspiring against you to make you old. No one else can feel your pain you little bitch.

Oh, and he cries about the evils of money but he sure doesn't have a problem spending the profits from one of the five best-selling albums in history. Hey, if you don't want your money to be evil, why don't you spend your billions of fucking pounds helping build infrastructure in the third world instead of putting on *the most expensive stage shows in history*.

Roger Waters is the worst human being ever to have existed. No one is a greater representative of self-importance and victim complex. He has willingly embraced all of humanity's worst excesses. The Pink Floyd discography is the description of hell: Focused self-importance, arrogance, misanthropy and an unending sense of entitlement. I am a lesser person for living in the same world as Pink Floyd.

The most obnoxious, pretentious piece of crap you're ever likely to hear. I hate Pink Floyd!

Whoever decided that this 42 minutes of cocky, uneventful guitar-vomit warranted the label of "greatest album of all-time" was obviously a child-porn fanatic, who wanted some "spacey shit to set the mood".

The completely meaningless and dull shit entrenched within Dark Side would however, along with the chloroform, also be pragmatic in putting the kids to sleep afterwards. I suppose the fact that it's wholly forgettable would also be another positive aspect. I mean, for the molester and all.

Sorry, but I cannot believe that an album with "Elvis Presley & America" on it can rank in the top 10 of all time. Top 25, perhaps - but not top 10.

Both Animals and WYWH should be ahead of DSOTM. Well ahead.
