That's a lot of lists.

The individual lists are way more interesting than the final list.

And I can't believe some of these records didn't make the top 100...like Odelay, for example. I mean, wtf? lol

I'm annoyed that Blue, Sea Change, Aja, and The Who Sell Out didn't make the cut.

You'd be surprised at how many albums got in the top 100 with just a few, very ecstatic votes.

I wouldn't be, actually. Three high placings and it's in.

The problem with So for me, and I mentioned this in the last thread, is that its an album of singles. I think there's actually a theme, as well as a bit of FLOW* on Security which really just makes it all around fantastic

We really should've bought a place for it on COBL_04's list. It could've made the top 100!

I can't believe some artists didn't make the top 100, even though they appeared on many lists (I didn't count points, etc.). The Police, Elton John,...

Great job there L-Mel

The drums and unique rhythms on Security unify all the songs. The tracklist is perfect too. I'll take that over an album of singles.

My favorite Peter Gabriel lyric.

"Though you may disappear
You're not forgotten here
I will say to you I will do what I can do."

The flipside is albums like Neon Bible that got a bunch of votes, but only a few high placings, which placed it near the bottom of the list.

I hope this settles the Funeral vs. Neon Bible debates once and for all.
