I'm "studying" for an exam, but I can get it to you tomorrow if you want.

That's fine. Your list will most likely change the final standings, but adding all the others up, here's what I came up with for the top ten:

EDIT - Final Standings after including Impy's list:

Good list. Awesome to see Fleet Foxes take the top spot from Coldplay.

I've never really been able to understand the hype behind Bloc Party though. My loss, I suppose.

Boo ya.

Phanan, would you mind showing us the top 15 if possible? If it's too much work, don't worry about it, I'm just curious as Imperor originally told us all to choose 15 albums (and then he himself did not follow that rule, as he is a liar and a cheat).

Imperor ... is a liar

I learned from the best:

I was sufficiently impressed by Hercules & Love Affair that I thought I would bump this thread just to mention the album. I have seldom heard a genre-revival album sound so fresh and inspired.

I think there were a decent amount of us who fell in love with it. They're doing a SXSW showcase, but it's not a free one so I won't be able to get into it. I only gave the album an honorable mention last year, but I've been listening to it a lot more lately and it would probably crack a revamped top ten for me. It's sublime. And I heard Dalton think Nomi Ruiz is hot.

This is too fucking excellent: http://pitchfork.tv/dont-look-down/hercules-love-affair-part-2-of-2/hercules-theme
