Hell, probably 75% will be 2008-12.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

They'll find some way to give it to Smells Like Teen Spirit.

So Debra is on here twice. Guess this isn't my ballot. Not that I don't want to vote for it twice.

I forgot Babies by Pulp anyway.

I noticed that, and approve. It will hopefully be on my list.

I'm having such a hard time choosing between favourites that no one knows (Da Art of Storytellin, Strawberry Swing, Race for the Prize, Zooropa) and songs that are still amazing but slightly less my favourites but will get a lot of votes (Hey Ya, Yellow, Do You Realise??/Yoshimi, Beautiful Day).

The dubstep/doof-doof shit that Triple J now play almost constantly induces in me a feeling of low grade permanent anxiety. Which is an emotional response I guess. Maybe I should vote for the Bloody Berlusconis, I mean Beetroots.

Mark Morrison - Return of the Mack
N-Trance - Stayin' Alive 95
Destiny's Child - Say My Name
Mika - Love Today

Not many songs drive me to murderous rage like Love Today, but kudos for Debra, Murder on the Dancefloor and Purple Pills. The latter will likely make my list.

I really, really want to include this one. Always loved it.

Modjo - Lady (Hear Me Tonight) - YouTube

^which I just realised, more than a decade later, thanks to the top YouTube comment, extensively samples this song.

Chic - Soup For One - YouTube

I really, really, really need to learn more about funk.

Oh, I love Mika! Not that I've heard anything he's released in the past few years, but he always seemed like a nice kid.

I might post that list legit when the voting's open. Won't make any difference.

Man, get on the Chicwagon immediately. You'll love them (and recognise every song from somewhere else).

You know, on that note...

Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You - YouTube

Always really liked this. Maybe this'll be the year I finally get into French house!

I'd actually be very satisfied if these ones made it, especially Apple Eyes!!

When does voting close?
