New Hot Chip album out this year, and there is an album out in March featuring Alexis Taylor and Tyler Pope in a band called New Build. Joe Goddard meanwhile had the fucking awesome Gabriel last year, and as The 2 Bears, with some bloke named Raf Rundell, has just released a new album. And it's pretty good stuff. Not especially memorable but will definitely plug the gap as we wait for new Hot Chip. Similar to the dance of One Life Stand.

Please please please check out The Warning. In my top ten for the decade, and mine, scums, cass and I think LM and maybe impy's favourite Hot Chip album.

I like it. Good beat. But, like I said before One Night Stand was released, I hope they still retain the elements that made me fall in love with them in the first place.

Haha! I can't actually remember the last time, because I was pretty young, so it's more of a guess. But I'd say at least 15 years. I've got a phobia of it now

I was a little offended at first, but then I clicked play...

New Build (Al Doyle (LCD/HC), Felix Martin (HC) + others) have just released a new album Yesterday Was Lived And Lost. Quite poppy, it's a pretty good record, and although it begins to drag as it nears the end (51 minutes) there's plenty of great tracks.

This is my current favourite (listen, it's awesome)

And a couple of other good'uns

And yeah, that's the cover art.

I really like Flutes. The rest... I'll reserve judgement till I've heard it more in a better quality, but this is not the band I once loved.

Guys, I've never listened to Hot Chip, which is sad given my love of all things DFA. Let's rectify this. Give me the name of the best started album.

The Warning, definitely. I really think it could become a bit of a favourite for you. It's one of my absolute favs of the last decade.

This album is really good, but it's too long. They need to consider a 9-track album (I have no idea how Night & Day made the cut tbh). All the same, it's better than One Life Stand, which had like three great songs and absolutely nothing else.

I like Ends of the Earth a lot.

I've changed my mind. This is great. Good headphones helped. And it's morning and I'm in the mood for some gentle beats.

I agree on Night and Day though. Maybe the worst on the record.

Flutes is an absolute banger.

My only issue is there's not enough Joe Goddard, and when he's on he's pretty ordinary. His Gabriel EP was crazy good.

I listened to it Friday while running. I liked it.
I listened to it while walking which was good too.

I like it but it is too long. And I think Night and Day is quite a fun track. Motion Sickness is my favourite.

Just saw these guys live at the Palace. I'm only a very casual fan (only know their most recent album and their more popular songs),quite a few songs I didn't know, but set closer Let Me Be Him In was amazing and is still ringing through my ears.

Flutes was one of the best live performances of any song I've ever had the pleasure to personally be there to experience.

No Motion Sickness :( probably my favourite track off the record

Decent gig!
