I think it was last year that it was performed, I can't remember if it was a Beatles' tribute show, or some award/reality show. There was a young African American boy singing "Let It Be" (I think..) and an older woman as well. The Cirque du Soleil put on a performance of "Across the Universe" and kinda chronicled Lennon's life.

I cannot seem to find this anywhere, does anyone know what show this was on? My kids are suddenly into the Beatles, thanks to the ATU movie soundtrack, and they've been asking about this show.

Try googling it -- I found a bunch of stuff. "Across the Universe" was an all-star tribute sing-along, though (with Bono!). The cast of the movie Across the Universe participated in a medley of "A Day in the Life" and "Let It Be" with the cast of Cirque du Soleil's LOVE.
