This is Halloween
Monster Mash
Grim Grinning Ghosts
Suspiria Theme
Nightmare on My Street (best Halloween song or BEST RAP SONG??!)
A Moon Over Bourbon Street
Bad Moon Rising
Werewolves of London
Don't Fear the Reaper
Evil House (some instrumental piece that's pretty cool)
Halloween Theme
A Freak Like Me Needs Company
Dead Man's Party
Ghostbusters
Thriller
All Soul's Night
Soul Man
Trick or Treat (some Disney song I listened to in my younger days)

Sooo... SUGGESTIONS??!!!!!

Dead Man's Bones - Buried in Water
Dead Man's Bones - My Body's a Zombie for You
Dead Man's Bones - Werewolf Heart
Q Lazarus - Goodbye Horses
Gorillaz - Dracula
Gorillaz - Ghoast Train
Gorillaz - M1A1 (Only for the spooky Day of the Dead sample)
Joy Division - Dead Souls
Kasabian - Vlad the Impaler
Ramones - Pet Semetary
Sufjan Stevens - They Are Night Zombies
The Cure - Lullaby

Not sure if it really fits your personal prefrences, but Lady Gaga's Bad Romance actually could fit the theme. :hmm:

Ryan Adams "Halloweenhead"
The Postmarks "Every Day is Halloween"
Tegan & Sara "Walking With a Ghost"
Fiona Apple "Werewolf"
Morrissey "You Have Killed Me"
The Smiths "Suffer Little Children"

yeah, what the heck, Khan??!
 in my adult life, i've dressed up for halloween twice. once because everyone where i worked did (peer pressure), the other because it was a costume contest and involved a prize (i won).

i'd elaborate, but i don't wanna bring down the thread. but i have nothing against halloween! i like decorating and stuff, i just don't ever have a reason to dress up. but when i do, you know it's all 80s. perhaps the next time i have an excuse i'll go all out and do some asymmetrical haircut or something.

"Horror Movies"-The Bollock Brothers
"Shout to the Devil"-The Alarm
"Spooky"-Classics IV
"The Killing Moon"-Echo & the Bunnymen
"Ghost Town"-The Specials
"Psycho Killer"-Talking Heads
"Gravedigger"-Dave Matthews
"St. James' Infirmary"-Louis Armstrong
"No One Lives Forever"-Oingo Boingo
"Tales from the Crypt" and "Twilight Zone" themes.

Music from 'The Omen' and 'Psycho' would work, too, obviously.

Spot on.

My go to album this time of year is 'The Director's Cut' by Fantomas. It's a Mike Patton project, so it somewhat defies categorization, but it's basically metal-ish interpretations of (mostly horror) movie scores. Here's their appropriately thrashy take on The Omen (Slayer's Dave Lombardo on drums y'all)

Fantômas - The Omen (Ave Satani) - YouTube

For that matter, "Corpse (These Chains Are Way Too Long)" should be in here, too.

bollox, neat version there. I like how they break from the creepy choir* to some demented redneck-y 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' type music for a bit.

*Church choirs are really spooky. The music in 'The Omen' legit freaks me the fuck out.

On that note, was the 'Halloween' score mentioned already?

Catman, would you like a copy pf the creepy music PM I sent to mobvok when he inquired? Or I suppose I could spoiler it here. it's just massive.

Oh, and Bela Lugosi's Dead: 1000 times yes.
