I think I remember a couple other people here mentioning they like them, but one of my favorite '80's / early '90's bands I'd never heard until the 00's is Sisters of Mercy. This is the first song of theirs I heard, and still probably my favorite. They're typically lumped into the "goth" side of things, but I think this song has an early "industrial" vibe too. The video is super cheesy, which I love. Floodlands is definitely one of my favorite '80's albums .
