With IV missing because pretentious.

If you could get the new Rhapsody beta at work, that would be ideal. Atomos without gaps

But it's on songs.to anyway.

It won't let me, I've been trying . I could clear my cookies and it would ask me if I wanted to swap, but then I'd have to put my passwords back in everywhere. Do you know how much of a pain that is?!

It's working fine, now, and it's very, very pretty. Almost couldn't guess when this was written.

Well, that was fantastic. Maybe a bit too post-rock for this thread, but in general, it fits well. Kind of some strong influences from modern film composers as well, which was fine by me.

But, whatever, straight through, very good.

Glad you liked it. I was going to describe it as Glaciers without beats.

Some records I bumped into this year that were great. Not necessarily 2014:

Stravinsky We in the TCU Marching Band performed the "Firebird" suite once as a show. THAT was the most intense marching band experience of my life.

I know it's the plebiest of pleb opinions to have, but KUSC always plays a slightly looser track at the end of the 8:00 hour and yesterday morning, that track was Holst's "Jupiter", AKA just about the best song ever. Best commute into work ever, at least.

I freaking LOVE The Planets. I do my best to brainwash my students into loving it as well. Works every year.

I love The Planets so much. I keep trying to branch out and listen to more stuff, but every time I hear The Planets I still think, Yep, that's my favorite.
